Frequently asked questions

How long does sampling take?

It depends on whether new tooling is needed and on the section complexity. Send the drawing and we give you a realistic sampling timeline for your part rather than a generic figure.

Do the sample and the production run use the same process?

Yes — samples are made on the same tooling and process route intended for the series, so the first-article approval reflects what production will deliver.

Can you help if we only have a concept, not a full drawing?

Within limits. We can help confirm profile details and suggest manufacturable adjustments so the section can be extruded and machined — but this is engineering support on your design, not a full product-design service.

What makes a section hard to extrude?

Very thin walls next to thick ones, extreme aspect ratios, sharp internal corners and unbalanced sections all affect the die and process stability. Send the section and we flag any of these and suggest adjustments.
